Nail Inc London - Diamond - $9.50 / 0.33 fl oz
I tend to favor solid color nails. Design and glitter have never appealed to me until recently. Nail art is huge, everyone is sporting it here or there. I figure I should start with something doable. Painting a layer of glitter on top of an existing nail polish is easy enough.
During the Sephora VIB sale I picked up Diamond by Nail Inc. London. There were a few different brands of glitter polishes, but the Nail Inc. London was the most affordable along with O.P.I. for Sephora. Since I already own plenty of O.P.I., I wanted to try out something new.
I like both the packaging and the formula. The glitter is easy to work with. For each nail, I re-dipped the brush back into the pot and swirled it around to get a good amount of glitter on the brush. With a final top coat, my nails are smooth. Remember not to skip a top cost as the glitters are a bit rough to the touch.
Step 1: base coat. I use O.P.I. Natural Nail Base Coat
Step 2: The color base for the glitter. I am using Essie Lily Pond. 2 coats to get the opacity.
Step 3: 1 coat of the glitter is enough, anymore and your nails will look chunky.
Step 4: final top coat to steal everything and give it a nice smooth finish.
I have to try it out. Great blog, so I'm a New follower on GFC =)
